The Angel has a traditional feel with its beams and fireplace in the bar making it feel very cosy in the winter. There’s also a rather lovely restaurant with a wood burner and beautiful views stretching up the river. All food is cooked fresh to order from our a la carte menu and our daily specials menu.

Children are always welcome, as are friendly, well-behaved dogs - please feel free to help yourself to dog biscuits in the jar by the front door.

Every Friday at lunch or dinner we will be serving a large pot of Cornish mussels freshly steamed in our homemade sauces. Served with skinny fries and a crusty baguette. Best enjoyed with our chilled Picpoul de Pinet, served by the glass or bottle. Booking is advisable due to high demand.
Join us for your festive get-together. Large parties can have the whole dining room to yourselves too!
Our main menu is sourced from local ingredients and includes a variety of dishes; ranging from pub classics to a la carte style dishes and salads.
On Sunday’s we offer a selection of Chicken and Beef roasts with fresh veg, homemade Yorkshire Puddings and proper gravy. Our main menu is also running on Sundays. We recommend booking earlier on Sundays for our roasts. Due to high demand we cannot guarantee full availability of Sunday roasts for later time slots. Booking is advisable & preordering roasts is recommended.
